The Instrument

Flugelhorn multisampled for NI Kontakt 3.5 or superior, the free player will only work for 15 minutes. Real flugelhorn played by Jaume Clement Mercant, professional musician from Mallorca.

Very natural and warm sound. Recorded with 3 mics: 1 placed in the front and 1 pair stereo placed overheads. This mic placement is really effective because it gives the most natural sound you can achieve.

There are two patches. With one of them you control the intensity of breath with the modulation wheel. With the other one you can control the vibrato, the intensity of breath is determined by the velocity.
