The Instrument

W-Shaker is a tempo synced and multisampled Kontakt 3 library based on two types of shaker (Egg and Metal). Personally, I think there’s a huge difference when a shaker comes into a song, it brings life to it!

2 velocity layers and 6 round robin, 6 different rolls and 10 pre-recorded tempo synced patterns. They are recorded using the Mid/Side technique, 100% mono compatible.

With our custom script you can control the volume and pan for each mic, that’s what we call “real mix mode“, it’s like you have recorded it in your studio. The patterns are recorded at 60 bpm, so we recommend not to use it with a slower tempo.

    I love this idea and the way it’s been implemented as much as I hate the idea of a piano sampled with wow and flutter… ;-) .

    A sprinkling of egg’n'shaker over repetitive drum loops can make all the difference.

    A very welcome product with great sound quality (shakers are not easy to record).

    I bought it. And I love it. You would think after buying Komplete 8 Ultimate that I’d have all the bases covered. But how can you NOT have a shaker and a tambourine? You guys took care of that little problem. Sounds super pro!

    Just bought it. It’s amazing!! It really brings my tracks to life and is able to be put into live tracks, not only as an additive sound, but as a less noisy and simple “click-track” for drummers! Amazing product.
